Paul and Megan are getting married in 2026!

 

We are gathering our nearest and dearest to celebrate love and life with us. 

 

Where: Highlands House at Highlands County Park - 8500 Highway 9 in Ben Lomond, CA - map here

 

When: Saturday, February 14, 2026 (time TBD)

 

What to expect:

There will not be a formal ceremony at this event (we will have a small, private ceremony separately). This is an opportunity for as many of our friends and family as possible to join us in celebration. Come ready for a good time!

We will have food and non-alcoholic drinks for everyone to enjoy. There will only be bubbly for toasts - otherwise drinks will be non-alcoholic. If you have a food allergy/restriction/request, please fill out this form. You only need to fill out the form if you have specific needs. We will have menu items that are both vegetarian and gluten-free. If you have additional needs, we want to know about them!

This is a CASUAL event. The bride and groom will not be in fancy dress - no suit and tie, no wedding dress. We will be in regular(-ish) clothes and will love it if you are too. Mostly, we want everyone to feel comfortable and have fun. We also want to make this event as low-impact as possible, in as many ways as we can. So we encourage the following:

    • Wear something you already have or buy used/vintage if you feel that you must. Natural fibers are strongly encouraged: cotton, wool, silk, linen, leather (think 'Frog and Toad'). Be comfortable - we will be! 
    • Use a low-impact mode of transportation if at all possible. Ride a bike, carpool, take a rideshare (cab, Lyft, etc.). Reach out to us if you need help with this! We will be happy to help connect carpoolers or otherwise assist. Please note that there is plenty of parking at Highlands County Park, so no matter how you get there, you will have room to park your vehicle of choice.
    • We will not be reserving space at any of the local hotels. If you plan to stay in the area, please choose accommodations that work best for you. We encourage you to choose local or independent businesses as often as possible. This keeps more of the money you spend in the community that we love dearly.
    • We will not have a formal photographer at this event so if you are at all handy with a camera, please bring it and take pictures! We will update this section to include information about where to upload your photos as soon as we have figured that out.
    • No gifts. We are two adults with two lifetimes worth of stuff! We really do not need anything more. But if you feel that you must give us a gift of some sort, we ask that you make donations to any of the following organizations:
