This symmetrical design features Peregrine Falcons, Western Least Terns, Topsmelt, European Starlings, and American Crows. Based on a 2023 illustration, "Peregrines in the Baylands", this image will be featured alongside an essay in my forthcoming book about wildlife in central California.
